PONTE VEDRA BEACH, Fla., May19, 2010  -  The Harvard Business School Club of Jacksonville held its Annual Membership Meeting this evening at UNF's University Center, Jacksonville, FL.

The results of the meeting are as follows:

1.  Elected as Officers and Directors for the next fiscal year (July 1, 2010, to June 30, 2011):

John R. Marshall, MBA 1985, President
Paul Hazlett, MBA 1979, Secretary/Treasurer
Scott Baker, MBA 1972, Director
Kirsten Barnhorst, MBA 1991, Director
Jill Gleeson, MBA 1992, Director
Don Merritt, MBA 1983, Director
George Novak, AMP 1997, Director

2.  Also approved at the meeting was an amendment to the Club's Bylaws creating a new honorary membership class for HBS alumni reaching their 60th anniversary.

Commenting on the Membership Meeting, John Marshall, President of the Club, remarked, "Despite the tumultuous economic and political environment, the Club made steady progress and increased its membership while at the same time improving its financial position.  I welcome our new Directors, Scott Baker and Jill Gleeson, and look forward to continue working with the Board on creating new and engaging ways to bring more benefits of the Club for the local HBS alumni ."
