Tax Law Update from Deloitte
Tax experts from Deloitte Tax LLP will give the latest tax updates from Washington
The Club will host this informative executive luncheon & briefing with experts from Deloitte Tax LLP to provide a current status on the latest tax developments from Washington, D.C., affecting both your personal and business bottom line. Topics will include:
• Status of healthcare reform
• Preview of 2010-forward tax policy
• Impact of the Administration's FY2011 tax proposals and pending expiration of 2001/2003 "Bush" tax cuts
• Climate change legislation impact on business
• Prognosis for corporate tax reform

Jeff Kummer
Director of Tax Policy
Washington National Tax
Jeff Kummer has 20 years of experience in the tax policy arena and is currently responsible for communicating emerging legislative, regulatory, and judiciary developments to the Firm and its clients. Jeff oversees the content development of Tax News & Views and other Deloitte Tax publications. His Capitol Hill experience includes working as a Legislative Assistant on tax and budget issues for former U.S. Senator and Senate Finance Committee member Steve Symms, R-Idaho. Jeff holds a BS in Political Science from the University of Idaho and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.
Wendi R. Christensen
Lead Tax Partner
Wendi Christensen is a tax partner in the Florida Lead Tax Services Group and has over 13 years experience in public accounting. Wendi specializes in providing a variety of corporate tax consulting services to publicly and privately-held companies in many industries including travel, hospitality and leisure, waste collection, service, retail, health care and life sciences. Wendi is experienced in assisting companies with accounting methods reviews, FAS 109 Accounting for Income Taxes, Internal Revenue Service examinations, structuring reorganizations and acquisitions, and with post-merger integration tax planning.
