JACKSONVILLE, Fla., January 21, 2009 - The Harvard Business School Club of Jacksonville is pleased to announce that John C. Glover, MBA 1993, has been appointed to the Club's Board of Directors.
Mr. Glover is the Managing Partner of Connemara Capital Company LLC. Connemara Capital is a closely-held private equity firm headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida, that partners with superior senior management teams across a wide range of industries including healthcare, asset management, communications, real estate, transportation, and media.
Since joining Connemara Capital in 2006, Mr. Glover has been primarily responsible for directing the firm's daily operational activities, the financial assessment and reporting of the firm's portfolio investments, and directing the partnership in achieving its strategic objectives.
Prior to joining Connemara, Mr. Glover has served in senior executive positions in both private and public companies. He received an MBA from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Duke University. Mr. Glover also served as a U.S. Naval nuclear submarine officer.
