Al Rossiter, President of Springboard Capital LLC, will explain the current state of early-stage venture investing and changes in the future landscape of entrepreneurial finance

About Al Rossiter
A native of Shaker Heights, Ohio, Alan Rossiter graduated from Denison University with a bachelor's degree in history. Following graduation, he entered Naval Aviation Officer Candidate School at Pensacola, Florida, and was designated a Naval Aviator in July, 1969.
During his twenty-seven year Naval career, Mr. Rossiter served as a carrier pilot with the Pacific and Atlantic fleets and specialized in the field of aviation maintenance and logistics management in the later half of his career. While serving in the Navy he earned an MBA from National University in San Diego.
Following retirement from the Navy in 1995, Mr. Rossiter formed Enterprise North Florida Corporation, an economic development organization dedicated to fostering high-impact entrepreneurial activity in the Jacksonville area.
In 2002, Alan Rossiter spearheaded the formation of Springboard Capital I, LLC, the first early-stage angel investment fund in Florida. Between 2002 and 2005, Springboard made equity investments in seven companies totaling more than five million dollars. In 2005, a second fund, Springboard Capital II was formed and has made three investments since its formation.
Mr. Rossiter currently serves full-time as President of Springboard Capital Management, LLC guiding the operations of the Springboard Capital Funds. Additionally, he is the founding Director of the Florida Angel Investment Alliance and serves on numerous industry trade organizations and not-for-profit Boards. He is a Director of Logix3, The SyKlone Corporation, Amulet Pharmaceuticals and Global Access Corporation (GAXC).
