Message from the Incoming Club President...

Join With Us to Build an Even More Successful Club!!!

  Paul Hazlett, MBA 1979
Club President

Dear Members and Fellow Alumni:

First, I would like to thank the Members for the confidence expressed in electing me President of the HBS Club of Jacksonville. Second, without the dynamic leadership of my two predecessors, I would not be assuming the leadership of a successful, growing alumni club -- so I owe Kirsten Barnhorst and John Marshall a big debt of gratitude.

Since this isn’t the Oscars, and we pride ourselves on short, succinct presentations, I won’t go on to thank my fifth grade teacher, Cub Scout den leader, etc. What I want to talk about are my aspirations for the Club and where I see the Club going during the upcoming year. Of course, these aspirations will only be achieved with the active support of the Members, and other area alumni who decide to become Members as they see its benefits.

The theme for the upcoming year will be, "Join us to build an even more successful Club!" Membership benefits are the reason to become a Member. Our objective is to expand membership benefits through opportunities for broader Member participation, and to improve the communication of those benefits. Read more on my objectives and plan for FY 2011-2012 by clicking here.

To be a part of the plan, please renew your Club membership now, or join
if you’re not already a Member! And be sure to check the Club website www.hbsjax.org regularly for upcoming events and opportunities to participate in Club activities. Your involvement is what makes our Club a success!!!

Looking forward to seeing you soon,

Paul B. Hazlett, President
